Sony is giving off early holiday spirit as it revealed the Playstation Plus Essential games for December. While we normally get three titles every drop, next month is giving us five.
PlayStation Plus Essential Free Games for December
Fans have been curious about how PlayStation Plus would close out the year, and Sony delivered with a five-game lineup. It’s not the strongest selection ever, sure, but five new games to dive into over the holidays is still a win. All titles will be available from December 2, 2025, to January 5, 2026.
Headlining the December lineup is LEGO Horizon Adventures, where you join Aloy as she battles to save Earth from an ancient digital demon and sun-worshipping fanatics. Basically a “simplified” Horizon with the typical LEGO humor and gameplay. So if you’re a fan of LEGO video games, you’ll love this too.
Rounding out the collection are Killing Floor 3, a solid action-horror co-op experience for up to six players; The Outlast Trials, a psychological horror ride; Synduality Echo of Ada, a futuristic extraction shooter; and Neon White, a stylish first-person action game about demons in Heaven.
All in all, the diverse lineup brings a lot to the table which every kind of PS Plus member can enjoy. But before we get too excited about them, don’t forget to claim November’s monthly games which include Stray, EA Sports WRC 24 and Totally Accurate Battle Simulator.
