PS5 Gets 1440p Support Soon

Industry insider Tom Henderson, known for his leaks on games like Call of Duty: Vanguard and Battlefield 2042, has revealed Sony is working on a new “pro” controller for the PS5.
Working under the codename “Hunt”, Henderson says the new PS5 controller will feature “removable analog sticks, trigger stops, and rear buttons (flappy paddles).”
If true, Sony’s new controller would be a huge step to better compete with the superior Xbox controllers and fix a few of the PlayStation controller issues.
One such issue is the “stick drift” that PlayStation DualSense controllers on PS4 and PS5 commonly suffer from.
Adding removable analog sticks could mean a simple and cheap fix for any stick drift, rather than having to purchase a brand-new DualSense controller.
The new PS5 controller will feature removable grips to help hold the controller.
It will also feature “significant” software upgrades over the current DualSense controller, although we don’t know what those upgrades will include.
So far, details are light, but rumors suggest Sony could announce the new PS5 pro controller as early as July this year.
