The First Descendant is a third-person, 4-player looter shooter where you play as a Descendant, a powerful being tasked with fighting giant bosses, after which you can extract their various body parts to craft better weapons and gear.

This September, you can try The First Descendant in a week-long open beta featuring crossplay, 11 playable Descendants, open beta rewards, and a few other improvements since the last closed beta.

 

The First Descendant Crossplay Open Beta Key Facts:

 
  • The beta will be open to players on Steam, Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, PS4, and PS5.
  • The beta will run from September 19, 2023 to September 25, 2023.
  • 11 playable Descendants and two ultimate Descendants.
  • New additional storyline.
  • A mysterious new map (The Sterile Land).
  • 11 new ultimate weapons each with unique effects.
  • 8 Void Intercept Battle bosses.
  • 2 new Void Intercept Battle maps.
  • New cosmetic system.
  • All participants will receive a limited-edition social motion.
  • Reach Descendant level 20 to receive a back-attachment customization item at launch.

THE FIRST DESCENDANT CROSS-PLAY IS LIVE

 

You can now sign up to the cross-play beta of The First Descendant now on PlayStation, Xbox, and PC from the Nexon homepage.

The beta runs from September 19 through September 26. So you better hurry if you want to try the co-op looter shooter.
