Pax Dei 1.0: Launch Times, Game Pass Day-One, Free Steam Key, and More!

Pax Dei may have flown under the radar since its early access launch in June last year, but it’s now ready to make its big debut, launching its v1.0 version. Mainframe Industries is celebrating this milestone in a big way, including a Game Pass day-one launch, free Steam key for some players to share, and a loaded base game access.
Pax Dei 1.0 Launches Today
Mainframe Industries will officially open the gates to Pax Dei 1.0 later today. The game exited early access on October 14th, the same time Founders players were able to get a head start. But that’s not the only perks they’re getting.
Apart from varying extras like Grace Boosts and character slots, all three Founders packs also get an extra free Steam copy of the game. The key is automatically in your account management page which you can share to a friend. In order to redeem it, just connect to the game from October 14th until November 16th.
Unlike many early access games, Pax Dei will start fresh upon full launch. It’s a complete wipe so all characters, plots, inventories, skills, etc are deleted and reset. This makes the Founders head start particularly useful since they’ve got 2 days to secure their character and clan names, and a preferred spot in the world before everyone else does. While there’s a full wipe, all Founders perks including the Gallian Gargoyle will carry over to the full game.
Pax Dei founders players may be getting a great deal of extras, but new players are also in for a treat. Just by buying the base game, gamers will receive 2 character slots and a free 1 month of Premium Membership which includes 1 Plot of land and one month of Premium Status granting +50% Grace on Daily login, +50% Grace from Gold Offerings, and +50% XP boost. Once the free month ends, you’ll need to subscribe again to enjoy these perks. But it’s worth noting that a premium membership is not required to play the game.
The good news still doesn’t end there. Pax Dei is also entering Xbox Game Pass as soon as it unlocks today at 3PM UTC / 8AM PDT. It will be available for Ultimate, Premium, and PC members. It is uncertain if the base game inclusions are part of the Game Pass version or if it’s just access to the base game.
As for what’s next for the game, Mainframe Industries previously released a roadmap which includes 2 post-launch updates. One is slated for release before 2026 ends and another sometime next year.
Pax Dei officially launches on October 16, 2025 on PC via Steam, Epic Games Store, and PC Game Pass.
