PoE gamers were absolutely thrilled when Grinding Gears Games announced that it will release Path of Exile 2.
Although it took more than a couple of years, GGG will finally let us into more information on this much awaited RPG game at this year’s ExileCon.
So sit back and relax as Exilecon unveils the next epic adventure that will leave players on the edge of their seats starting July 29, 2023 to July 30, 2023.
Seeing as Grinding Gears Games has their dedicated convention for Path of Exile, it is safe to assume that the definite Path of Exile 2 release date will be more likely to be announced during ExileCon and we’re looking at 2024 period.
One thing is for sure, the game’s beta launch date will be revealed over the weekend.
Like the first one, Path of Exile 2 is free for all gamers to enjoy.
Of course like other free to play video games (or even paid ones for that matter), there is in-game content to be expected.
These, however, really depend on you and how you want to experience Path of Exile. For example if you want or need more stash tabs, then it’s available to purchase.
But with that much free gameplay, why not give back to the developers if you can afford it. After all, it does make the PoE experience better.
Not necessarily as Path of Exile 2 unfolds 20 years after the events of the original story. They work in different campaigns linked together by a shared endgame.
Players who have already explored every aspect of the first game’s plotline now have exciting new challenges to conquer. The death of Kitava might have brought temporary peace, but a new menacing faction has emerged seeking to seize power in Wraeclast.
This continuation of the game’s lore promises an engaging experience without affecting the endgame activities which are set to remain.
We will have to wait for ExileCon for the final system requirements but it is speculated that the following are the minimum and recommended system requirements for Path of Exile 2:

As mentioned above, you can watch ExileCon’s official stream on their Twitch channel www.twitch.tv/pathofexile. You don’t need any kind of digital ticket as the event is free to stream.

A lot as there are discussions, announcements, interviews, and gameplay during the 2-day event. But what most Path of Exile fans are excited about are the microtransactions you can earn and win during the stream.
You can earn the Heartseeker Portal and Raven Demon Wings as Twitch Drops by watching any channel streaming ExileCon.
To redeem the first one, you need at least one hour of watch time on the first day then an accumulated four hours over the weekend to redeem the second one. Specific time period depends on where you’re watching. For more info, you can check here.
There are also an additional 18 microtransactions and 2 bundles you can win over the weekend. This however, unlike the first two Twitch Drops, works only if you watch in their official Twitch channel and not other channels streaming the event. You can check here for further details.
It is important to note that in both “events”, you need to link your Path of Exile account to Twitch.
