The No Man’s Sky Voyagers Update brings us massive corvette starships. These ships are huge and fully customizable, and of course, you can explore them from the inside. You can build med bays, sleeping quarters, war rooms, radar systems, teleporters, and much more. The corvettes are made up of hundreds of modules like different hulls, wings, or interior designs. You can also add more cannons to boost your firepower.
The update is heavily focused on co-op, so you can live together with friends on one ship and embark on missions together. But it’s also epic to have multiple corvette ships orbiting a planet at the same time. You can even exit your ship mid-flight and maneuver freely through space to board other ships.
The corvettes come with an autopilot and automatically navigate to space stations or other destinations. With teleporters, the crew can board other ships or planets. Onboard, there’s also a mission terminal where players can register as crew, start missions, and earn rewards. At the same time, there’s a limited-time expedition (Expedition Nineteen: Corvette) featuring exclusive items like a Mecha-Mouse companion.
The developers wanted everyone to be able to take part in this update. That’s why you can start the missions to build your corvette quite early. Of course, it will be smaller at first, but this way every player can build their own corvette-class ship and improve it over time.

On release day, the game reached about 29,000 players. But this number kept climbing over the following days. By the evening of August 28, the game had peaked at over 46,000 concurrent players. That’s the highest number in over a year – and the trend is still rising. Previously, the player average was around 6,000–8,000 players, so this marks a massive player increase.
