EA brings good news for EA Play subscribers. As early as October 7th, members can play NHL 22 — a full week before it officially launches on October 15th — during its Early Access Trial.

Posting on Twitter, EA said, “Want to be first to experience breakthrough hockey in #NHL22? With EA Play, you can enjoy the early access trial starting on October 7!”

EA added that Playstation and Xbox players who have not subscribed yet can get a special deal if they subscribe before September 30. The subscription will only cost 99 cents, so if you haven’t subscribed yet, grab this special price while it’s available.

NHL 22 promises to bring “massive visual upgrades” to both current and next-gen platforms thanks to the Frostbite engine which comes to NHL 22 for the first time. NHL players feel more alive with physically-true stick interactions, all-new AR game stats projected directly to the environment, as well as the addition of the Superstar X-Factor system, among others.

All these and more await you when NHL 22 launches on October 15 for Ps4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S.
