Good news for all racing fans! EA and Ghost Games have officially announced a new Need for Speed game which is scheduled to be released this year! The new game is called Need for Speed Payback, and it will be available starting 10 November 2017 on PC via Origin, Playstation 4, and Xbox One.

Need for Speed Payback is set in Fortune Valley, and players will take on the role of three different characters (Tyler, Mac, and Jess). These characters will drive, race, and unite against a local criminal cartel called The House.

The developers are promising players the “deepest customization” in the series. Players also now have the ability to seek out and discover abandoned cars which they can repair and tune. Driving can also be on- or off-road. There are also events all over from mountains, desert, and canyons. The game also comes with a betting system where players can use the funds from their performances, and either multiply them, or completely lose them all.

EA has also announced that players who preorder the game will get access to five fully customized and tuned iconic cars upon launch:

• Nissan 350Z 2008
• Chevrolet Camaro SS 1967
• Dodge Charger R/T 1969
• Ford F-150 Raptor 2016
• Volkswagen Golf GTI Clubsport 2016

The game also comes with a Deluxe Edition which will include the following:

• Platinum Car Pack
• Three days early access to the full game (comes with exclusive customization items such as license plate and NOS color)
• In-game discounts
• XP Bonuses
