Microsoft CEO of Gaming Phil Spencer is to receive the Lifetime Achievement Award at the annual D.I.C.E. Awards.

Phil Spencer is the CEO of Microsoft Gaming and has been at Microsoft since 1988, when he joined the company as an intern.

Since then, Spencer has held roles such as Executive Vice President of Gaming, Head of Xbox, and Corporate Vice President of Microsoft Studios.

Under his leadership, Microsoft has released the Xbox One S, Xbox One X, and Xbox Series X and Series S consoles.

Microsoft has also acquired Mojang, Ninja Theory, Obsidian Entertainment, and Zenimax Studios, adding games such as Minecraft, Fallout, and The Elder Scrolls to their list of assets.
