Madden NFL 26 Exits Game Trials and Now Part of EA Play List and Game Pass Ultimate

EA Sports Madden NFL 26 officially enters The Play List today, February 5. Available for EA Play and Game Pass Ultimate members.

EA Play and Xbox Game Pass Ultimate members have gained another premium title from EA Sports today. Madden NFL 26 has exited the Game Trials and is now available on The Play List.

Madden NFL 26 Joins EA Play List

While it wasn’t a total surprise, the fact is still exciting nonetheless. EA Sports Madden NFL 26 was one of the titles included in the Xbox Game Pass wave 1 lineup, meaning it’s finally graduating from the Game Trials and will be accessible, in full, for EA Play members. And since EA Play is part of the Ultimate subscription, Game Pass members on the highest tier get the same thing.

The game launched in August 2025 and has since been on Game Trials, offering a 10-hour access to subscribers. When Madden NFL 24 showed up in the Leaving Soon section of the Xbox app, everyone knew that a newer one would replace it. And since Madden NFL 25 was already on The Play List, it was NFL 26’s turn.

To make this even sweeter, subscribers can claim two Member Rewards associated with this title. The Madden Ultimate Team February Pack is available to claim throughout February, and the Supercharge Pack in Ultimate Team can be claimed starting today until March 6.

The game is joined by two other titles entering Xbox Game Pass today. Paw Patrol Rescue Wheels Championship lands on all main tiers of the service, while MENACE is a day-one launch for PC Game Pass.

With Madden NFL 26 joining the Play List, there are four titles left in the Game Trials which are accessible for EA Play and Game Pass Ultimate members. EA Sports College Football 26, NHL 26, and EA Sports FC 26 are all available with 10-hour access while F1 25 offers a 5-hour trial.
