Lost in Random is a gothic-fairy-tale-inspired ARPG from the EA Originals program and developed by Zoink Games.
The game follows the story of Even, and her friend Dicey, as they try to save Odd, Even’s sister from the evil queen.
It’s a world where the roll of a dice determines your fate, including where a person lives.
The journey to save your sister will see you battle the queen’s henchman, make difficult choices, and try and break Random’s curse.
Combat in Lost in Random is strategic, with cards drawn from a deck and played to perform powerful abilities.
The overwhelming theme in Lost in Random is, to no surprise, randomness, and that includes combat, with battles taking on board-like arenas using dice.
Lost in Random is a wonderfully crafted game, with the developers noting Tim Burton’s work as the inspiration behind the unique and macabre atmosphere.
The story unfolds through seemingly random events, with the characters you meet presenting unforeseen challenges and experiences.
If you are to stop the queen from destroying your home, you will need to find a way to make randomness a little more consistent.
