HAL and Nintendo’s pink ball Kirby is back, and for the first time in the history of its franchise, in a 3D Platformer.

Kirby and the Forgotten Land features an all-new adventure as Kirby explores a mysterious world that’s full of abandoned structures left by a past civilization. In this world are a lot of baddies, and you must defeat them and the powerful bosses in order to free the kidnapped Waddle Dees.

What do you do in Kirby and the Forgotten Land?

Each time Waddle Dees are successfully rescued, you will be able to unlock shops and evolve copy abilities as well as grow your home base.

How long does it take to beat Kirby and the Forgotten Land?

Kirby and the Forgotten Land is set in a 3D map which Kirby can explore. And to help him achieve his goal on each level,  the developers added a new mode called Mouthful Mode. This allows Kirby to “inhale real-world objects” and then take its shape.

For example, Kirby can inhale a vending machine and then shoot out the canned products to attack enemies. Or he can swallow a car and gain wheels that could help him move faster or slam through walls.

Not only can Kirby inhale objects. In Kirby and the Forgotten Land, he can also inhale certain enemies and copy their abilities. These abilities can also evolve into even more powerful ones.

The game also takes advantage of the Nintendo Switch’s features, as it also allows another player to play in local co-op using the Joy-Con™ controller. Player 2 will play as Bandana Waddle Dee.
