Kingmakers Launches In Early Access On October 8
At its second annual TinyBuild Connect showcase, indie publisher TinyBuild and developer Redemption Road Games confirmed that Kingmakers will launch in Early Access on October 8, 2025. The game will be available on Steam and the Epic Games Store.
Pricing details haven’t been revealed yet, but you can already wishlist it on your platform of choice. This early access release will give players their first hands-on taste of a game that’s aiming to rewrite the rules of both strategy and action.

Kingmakers is a mix of strategy and action set in a reimagined version of medieval England. You play as a time traveler sent to the past to try and prevent a future apocalypse. But instead of swords or bows, you bring modern-day weapons like AK-47s and grenade launchers to the battlefield.
You can play solo or team up with up to three friends in online co-op. Together, you’ll take part in large-scale battles, capture and defend locations, and coordinate with AI-driven armies. The game allows players to switch between first-person shooting and strategic command at any time, offering a flexible approach to gameplay.
