Remember when Warhorse Studios said before that Kingdom Come Deliverance will not get a current-gen upgrade? Well, it may be true then but it’s no longer true now. Recent reports suggest that the game’s Playstation 5 version is underway and may actually not be far off from an announcement.
Kingdom Come Deliverance PS5 Version Officially Leaked
Since the launch of Kingdom Come Deliverance 2, fans have already been asking for a current-gen upgrade on the first game. However, the studio said that it wasn’t part of the plan.
Fast forward to July of last year, PlayStation Game Size revealed that a native PS5 version is in the works, though details remain under wraps, and fans will need to wait for the official announcement. Weeks went by, then months, and there was still nothing. Many forgot about it and those who waited thought that the leak wasn’t true.
Well today, they are redeemed. And the confirmation comes straight from PlayStation itself. Though unintentionally.

Many gamers spotted that the Kingdom Come Deliverance PS Store page in multiple countries like in the UK and Italy has an “Updated for Playstation 5” section. The full blurb says, “The PS5 version of Kingdom Come: Deliverance now features graphical upgrades including 4K resolution, an improved frame rate, high-resolution textures, and much more. Medieval Bohemia has never looked so beautiful.”
While no official announcement has been made, this is as close to confirmed as it gets. It’s clear, however, that Sony wasn’t ready to share the news, as the page has since been reverted and the notice removed.
Many fans are now speculating that this piece of info was meant to be released on a bigger stage like the rumored State of Play next month. Time will tell but it’s probably safe to assume that Kingdom Come Deliverance PS5 is happening.
