Kingdom Come Deliverance will Run at Different Resolutions Depending on your Console
If you’ve seen any of the gameplay videos for Kingdom Come Deliverance, you’d know that the landscapes are scenic and the details gorgeous. But how will this translate to current-gen consoles? In an interview with WCCFTech, Warhorse PR Manager Tobias Stolz-Zwilling revealed just what resolutions players can expect for the realistic medieval RPG for both Xbox and Playstation platforms.

Both the regular versions of the Xbox one and PS4 will run the game at 900p. PS4 Pro owners will be bumped up slightly to 1080p, while Xbox One X users will reach 1440p resolution.
Stolz-Zwilling said that the Xbox One X “allows us to use 1440p resolution, top quality Global Illumination, more and better shadows, better lighting and LOD distances compared to the regular Xbox One.” He continued to say that “the PlayStation 4 Pro runs at 1080p resolution and slightly worse Global Illumination/particle effects simulation.” He also added that they are pushing all of the platforms to their limits.
The experience on PC will depend on each user’s hardware setup, but they’ll be happy to know that the game is built primarily on PC. Steam lists the minimum system requirements as an i5-2500K running at 3.3GHz with 6GB of RAM and at least a GTX 660 for the GPU. These are only preliminary specs though and are very likely to change.
Kingdom Come Deliverance is set to launch on 13 February for PC, Xbox One and PS4.
