Kingdom Come Deliverance 2 is the sequel to the popular Kingdom Come Deliverance. It is a medieval RPG set in the 15th century. You play as Henry of Skalitz, just like in the previous game, seeking to avenge his murdered parents. However, on his journey, he encounters things like betrayal, love, and much more. From a blacksmith, Henry becomes a knight and much more as he searches for his purpose in the simultaneously beautiful and cruel world.
You can explore various locations, take on quests from different people, or engage in trade. You can also forge your own weapons or hone your skills with a bow and arrow. All of this is accompanied by a gripping story that has had a lot of time and effort put into it. Over five hours of cinematics have been created for this game in total.
During the game, you will also find yourself rebelling against the King of Hungary, Sigismund the Red Fox. Along your journey, you will encounter many other characters whom you can befriend and embark on adventures with. Additionally, you will come across interesting places like taverns and much more that you can visit.
Similar to the previous game, there will be exciting first-person battles in Kingdom Come Deliverance 2. What makes it unique is that you can attack in five different directions and also need to block in these directions. Of course, you can also attack from horseback with a lance or from a distance with a bow. All paths are open to you in Kingdom Come Deliverance 2.
Last evening, the official announcement trailer was uploaded on YouTube. A few hours earlier, there were already some leaks on the IGN website, increasing the anticipation for the trailer. But now it’s finally here.
What immediately stands out in the trailer is that the already beautiful graphics have been further improved. Of course, this is a trailer, but we hope that the game itself will not look much different.
Right at the beginning of the trailer, we see the siege of a city and how it is bombarded by trebuchets. However, the trailer unfortunately provides few details about the game itself. We see many different factions, scenes, deaths, and of course, the main character, Henry of Skalitz.
Later, we also see some combat scenes. The first involves close combat with a knight. Then, a crossbow is shot from the back of a horse, followed by more combat in narrow city streets.

There is no exact release date for Kingdom Come Deliverance 2 yet, and unfortunately, the new trailer doesn’t reveal much. The only thing we know is that Kingdom Come Deliverance 2 is set to release in 2024 for PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S.
