Skybound Games and Quarter Up delivered some great news for fans who can’t wait for April 30 to arrive. An Invincible VS Open Beta is officially confirmed and will feature 10 characters, 6 arenas, and 2 main modes. Yep, including the Ranked mode.

Invincible VS Open Beta Details

Invincible VS is set to launch on April 30, 2026 for PC, Playstation 5, and Xbox Series X|S. While that’s not a long wait anymore, console players can play it earlier as Skybound Games announced that an Open Beta is now scheduled for April 9 at 10AM PT / 1PM ET / 5PM GMT until April 11 at 9PM PT / 12AM ET / 4AM GMT. Unfortunately for PC players, you’re going to have to sit this one out and wait for the official launch.

The beta version will feature a 10-character roster which most likely will be the same with the full release. The latest to be revealed is crowd favorite Allen the Alien who actually brought us the news of the beta. But keep an eye out for Omni-Man in the next few days. There’s apparently something very special we’ll find out about him very soon.

Six arenas have also been confirmed including Himalayas and The Moon which I’m particularly excited about. As for the modes, the Training Mode which includes tutorial and practice modes, and the Ranked Mode (stemming from the practice mode) are confirmed. So before you get to Ranked, you’ll finish some placement matches first to eventually group you with players of the same skill level.

To participate in the Open Beta, you’ll just need to download it from your preferred platform. There is no sign-up or registration required and this is open to absolutely everyone.

While most of us will start the countdown for April 11, there are some who are lucky enough to experience the beta even earlier. As per official announcement, attendees of the SXSW in Austin, Texas which is happening from March 12 to March 14, will be able to play a special version of the beta. So if you are, make sure to drop by Allen’s Love Shack.
