As expected, Microsoft’s Xbox Partner Preview showcase yesterday was one for the books, especially for Hitman fans. IO Interactive revealed the next Elusive Target mission where Eminem hires Agent 47 to assassinate… Eminem. The mission drops on December 1, setting up what might be the most legendary holiday contract yet.
Hitman World of Assassination Next Elusive Target Mission Features Eminem
The G.O.A.T. has arrived on Hitman World of Assassination! Revealed during November’s Xbox Partner Preview showcase, Eminem takes center stage as both the client and the mark. Well technically, the target is Slim Shady, his younger alter-ego who has become a violent entity which the real Eminem needs to take out before it comes after him.
The mission is set in a twisted, dreamlike reimagining of a Hokkaido medical facility, transformed into the chaotic Popsomp Hills Asylum. It mirrors Slim Shady’s unstable mindset, blending doctors, patients, and performers into a single distorted world. He has transformed the old operating theatre into a live broadcast studio, and players must pursue him through interconnected areas including a recording studio and a strange “Group Training Session” room where he manipulates doctors into joining his scheme to weaponize music.
This next mission isn’t just about Slim Shady’s fractured reality and music, it’s also heavily inspired by everything Eminem, “from a poisoned Spaghetti Sandwich served in his restaurant to a haunting performance of “Houdini.” On top of that, IO Interactive is releasing the Eminem vs. Slim Shady Pack which includes a new suit and more in-game items. All these start on December 1 until December 31.
Hitman World of Assassination is available on PC, Playstation consoles, Xbox consoles, and Nintendo Switch consoles.
