Helldivers 2 Developer Arrowhead Delays New Content to Patch Shooter
Helldivers 2 developer Arrowhead Game Studios has announced it is delaying upcoming new content and feature updates to address the third-person shooter’s bugs and performance issues that players have been raising concerns about in recent weeks.
Arrowhead wants to address player concerns surrounding the game’s performance issues, saying it plans to “push some” updates back to put the game in a more “stable state.”
Speaking in a new video, director Mikael Erikson expressed his wish for the game to be a state that the studio and players “can believe in” moving forward.

In the video, Erikson says that pushing updates “a little bit into the future” will ensure that coming patches, updates, and fixes will keep Helldivers 2 in a more “noticeable” stable state than previous updates have done.
While Erikson says that some issues and bug fixes could see “fairly quickly” patches, some will take a little more time. Unfortunately, players will have to be patient as Arrowhead makes fixes before expanding with further content.

Erikson says Arrowhead is taking it “very seriously” and “focusing way more now on addressing these issues to make sure this sort of thing doesn’t happen again.”
