Halo Turns 20 With Master Chief Collection Celebration

Microsoft’s legendary FPS, Halo, turns 20-years-old on November 15, and to celebrate, 343 Industries are releasing all-new customization options over the next few months.

HALO: MCC CELEBRATING 20 YEARS

It’s an exciting time to be a Halo fan, as Halo Infinite launches just a few weeks after The Master Chief turns 20.

And to celebrate that anniversary, 343 are releasing Halo 20th Anniversary-themed content in the MCC Exchange that you can purchase using Season Points.

Items include exclusive backpacks, weapon skins, and concept armor for the original Halo released in 2001.

20th Anniversary Items Releasing In the Exchange:

• November 3: Orion Armor (Halo 2A)
• November 10: Duke Shoulders, The Beast Backpack (Halo 3)
• November 17: OGX AR (Halo 3)
• November 24: Mirage Armor (Halo 3)
• December 1: OGX BR, Rucksack (Halo 3)

• December 8: Hydration Container (Halo Reach)
• December 15: Duke Shoulders, OGX Sniper, Fronkbox (Halo 3)
• December 22: OGX Magnum, Grunt Plush Backpack, X-Pack (Halo 3)
• December 29: OGX SPNKR, OGX Shotgun (Halo 3)
• January 5: Orion Armor (Halo 2A)

If you miss any dates, 343 has promised that the items will come to the Exchange again at a later date.

HALO INFINITE BATTLE PASS DETAILS

Halo Infinite launches on December 8, and 343 has revealed a few little details about how the game’s Battle Pass will work.

The Halo Infinite Season 1 is called “Heroes of Reach” and will unsurprisingly focus on Halo Reach-themed customizations.

Not all customization options come in the Battle Pass, as you can purchase items in the store or earn exclusive cosmetic items through daily and weekly rewards.

A Few Key Details of the Halo Infinite Battle Pass:

• You can only have one Battle Pass active at a time.
• You can switch your active Battle Pass at any time.
• Every quarter of the Battle Pass will contain a Legendary cosmetic item.
• Event rewards release separately from the Battle Pass.
