Halo Infinite Campaign Released

IS HALO INFINITE CAMPAIGN FREE?

Microsoft and 343 Industries have finally released the Halo Infinite campaign after its multiplayer experience launched a few weeks ago in early access.

With the campaign’s launch comes a bunch of fixes and tweaks to both Halo Infinite multiplayer and campaign modes.

The first important note is that the campaign means a new 25.86 GB download and a 3.97 GB update for multiplayer.

If you do not have the Halo Infinite multiplayer installed, you are looking at a full installation size of 48.42 GB for both the campaign and multiplayer.

There are a few fixes to multiplayer, too, along with some tweaks to progression.

Halo Infinite Multiplayer Progression Changes:

• XP rewards for the first 6 Daily Challenges are increased.
• Completing a match now grants an additional 50 XP.
• Daily Challenges now reset at 10 am PT

WHAT IS THE STORY OF HALO INFINITE?

In Halo Infinite, the Master Chief attempts to track down Cortana with the help of a new AI called “The Weapon.”

Infinite is a direct sequel to Halo 5: Guardians, and although Halo Infinite is designed as an entry point to the series, playing previous titles will help improve your experience.

The game takes place on Zeta Halo, a Forerunner ringworld controlled by the Banished.

Much of the game takes place in an open-world setting, with control over which objectives you complete and in which order your choice.

There are familiar weapons and vehicles, including the BR, AR, Needler, Warthog, and Mongoose, and all-new ones like the Disruptor, Heatwave, Stalker Rifle, and Mangler.

Halo Infinite is available to buy now on Xbox One, Xbox Series X and Series S, and PC, and is also available at no extra cost for Xbox Game Pass subscribers.
