Rockstar Games’ highly-anticipated GTA VI now has its first trailer, which reveals the upcoming action game’s release as 2025.
The GTA VI official trailer is only ninety seconds long, but it has been ten years in the waiting for many, gathering more than 60 million views in just 12 hours.
It’s no secret that GTA VI will have the largest map ever seen in a Grand Theft Auto game, with the new one once again set in Vice City.
Leaks and estimates reveal the GTA VI map to be almost twice as large as the one in GTA V.

The GTA VI Trailer 1 revealed a 2025 release date. Rockstar has offered no exact date but we do know it’s a next-gen game. That means a release on PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.
GTA 6 has been the subject of dozens of leaks, with the biggest one being in September 2022 when more than 90 videos were leaked.
The leaks have shown a 32-player GTA Online 2 mode, an expected release date in 2024 – which we now know is wrong – and a potential female character.
