The hype for a new GTA game is growing as the GTA 6 trailer smashed multiple records for views and likes on YouTube and Twitch.
Rockstar’s GTA 6 Trailer 1 broke the record to become the most viewed non-music YouTube video in 24 hours, amassing 90,421,491 views. It also managed to receive 8.9 million likes in that first 24 hours.
And all this has happened without much GTA 6 gameplay, no news on GTA 6 pre-order details, and to be honest, minimal GTA 6 news.
Okay, so the internet has gone wild for the new trailer, but as Grand Theft Auto 6 breaks world record after record, when can we expect the new GTA 6 release date?
We know the new GTA game is releasing sometime in 2025, and Rockstar Games has even confirmed we’ll be able to buy a game key for Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S, and PlayStation 5.
Interestingly, there’s no information on a PC game key or Steam game key release, but a GTA 6 PC CD key release is more than likely coming, too.
Thanks to leaks, we know there’ll be a GTA 6 lead female character named Lucia. The game is set in an extended Vice City, with the GTA 6 map twice as big as the GTA V map.

And we also know that Rockstar has been working on Grand Theft Auto 6 since before February 2022.
