It’s been a couple of years since the last GRID entry, and the newest one, GRID Legends, will attempt to be explosive, inclusive, and, most importantly, fun.

There is plenty to look forward to with GRID Legends, with more game modes than ever, more than 100 cars at launch, and hundreds of events.

The game will run in 4K at 60fps on the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series x and Series S consoles, and a 120fps option is expected to also be available at launch.

Every car features a cockpit view, and you can choose to race with a steering wheel or controller, depending on your preferences.

Excitingly, GRID Legends will feature two narrative-driven experiences, Driven to Glory and a separate Career mode.

  is GRID Legends multiplayer?

Driven to Glory is an all-new feature similar to F1 2021’s Braking Point and will challenge you to complete events and uncover a rich story.

The game mode is more notable as it features actors, live CGI, and a story that will last between 8-10 hours.

The Career mode, which is separate from Driven to Glory, is also a narrative-driven experience co-written by Ghost of Tsushima writer Brad Kane.

In Career, you will run a team and guide them through Rookie, Semi-Pro, and Pro ranks as you bid to become a legend.

They are not the only game modes, as there is also a Race Creator in which you can create your own events and share them with the community.

GRID Legends also adds snow to its list of weather and race conditions along with rain, dry, night, and day.

For those that enjoy multiplayer, you can expect both weekly and monthly challenges, and there is even the option to drop into someone’s single-player race and compete as one of the AI drivers.

Don’t worry about the lack of tracks either, as Legends features 22 tracks at launch, with 13 of those being circuits and 9 being city streets.

In terms of accessibility, the game’s Choreographer 2.0 system ensures that no matter what difficulty you are racing in, the AI will adapt to your on-track performance to make sure every race is thrilling.

GRID Legends launches on February 25, 2022 for PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X and Series S.
