The team actually scouted the area and spent weeks learing about the terrain, the people, and the culture. Doing their best to take in the characteristics of Bolivia to recreate in the game.

From the mountains, forests, and salt flats, an authentic Bolivia can be experienced. However, as said in the blog, “It’s not the real Bolivia. We have to level design our world and make it interesting to the player by always giving something new to discover.”

You will also get to experience in the game a ‘well-balanced environment’ which the dev team calls ‘world-logic’ to make sure that everything in the environment is consistent and balanced. “World logic and consistency were very important in defining the biomes, in defining the provinces, in defining the city, and defining the NPC’s themselves”. The blog continues, “If we have a village somewhere, we need to make sure the agriculture is consistent with the landscape”.
