The game is set in 1274, during which the vast Mongol Empire launched an invasion on Japan. Your goal is to liberate the island from Mongol invaders. However, to achieve this goal, you must forsake the honorable path of a samurai, as you stand no chance against the countless enemies. You must become a shadow and attack your enemies from the darkness.
