NBA 2K16 Play Now Online

Get your game on and take on the best of the best in the all-new Play Now Online mode in NBA 2K16. This mode is for serious and competitive players who want to take part in an online ranking system. The ranks are determined through winning and getting achievements, and players of the same skill level will go on Head to Head and Team Up matches. By winning consistently, players can complete goals and move up in the ranking  to enter the finals.

The new online mode challenges players to rise through the ranks and emerge as the greatest of all-time. Reaching through the stars won’t be that easy though. A recent tweet by the game’s Gameplay Produucer, Scott O’Gallagher, reveals that the Play Now mode’s difficulty is set at Superstar Simulation.

The “Play Now” mode also gives players 10 leagues or ranks to ascend to. The 10 leagues are as follows: Freshman, Junior Varsity, Varsity, Junior College, College, Development, EuroLeague, NBA, Hall of Fame, and Greatest of All Time. Any wins or losses will be taken into account towards reaching their goals within each league.

NBA 2K16’s online teams are broken in tiers, and winning from higher tiers will reward a bonus of extra league wins. Once players advance to the higher leagues, they will unlock some of the greatest teams in NBA history.
