Epic Games makes the no-build feature a permanent game mode called Zero Build in Fortnite.

Fortnite Zero Build is a new permanent game mode in Fortnite that removes the building mechanics from the popular battle royale.
Fortnite Zero Build will test combat skills rather than construction skills and will hopefully see players return who could not keep up with the fast-paced building mechanics.
In a blog post, Epic Games said Fortnite Zero Build will test a player’s “weapon, item, and traversal ability.”
Fortnite Zero Build will help Fortnite align better with other battle royale games such as Apex Legends and PUBG and see much more grounded warfare.
Fortnite Zero Build is available in Solo, Duo, Trio, and Squad matchmaking.
For those wanting to still build in Fortnite, you can do so in other game modes like Creative and Arena.
