Square Enix has released a new extensive gameplay trailer for the upcoming Forspoken, showing the game’s world, gameplay, and enemies.

Cipal is the last refuge for the people of Athia, where a calamity called the “Break” corrupts every living and non-living thing it touches.

During the latest trailer, we see how Frey uses her magic and abilities to fight off corrupted humans and beasts as she journeys through the dangerous world.

Forspoken was recently delayed for a second time, and it looks like it’s been for the best, as the gameplay and combat look bright and fluid.

Forspoken is due to release on January 23 on PS5 and PC.
