Football Manager 26 Open Beta launch is scheduled for October 24th based on an email sent to alpha build players.

After a shocking cancellation of last year’s edition, Football Manager is back this year with its much awaited season. Not only does it come with Unity engine graphics but also a licensing deal with FIFA, bringing the World Cup update to the game next year.

The good news doesn’t stop there as fans are looking at an early experience with the game with its open beta releasing next week.

Football Manager 26 Open Beta Scheduled For October 24th

Football Manager 26 is officially set to launch on November 4th for PC, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and Xbox One, followed by a December 4th release on Nintendo Switch. Since that’s not a long wait from now, many weren’t expecting when Sports Interactive revealed an Advance Access Beta via the game’s official X account.

While no public beta date has been confirmed, Football Gaming Zone reports that an internal release schedule has been shared. According to the outlet, codes are already being distributed to professional footballers invited to test the alpha build.

These emails contain not just the codes but an open beta launch date scheduled for October 24th. It probably was written there so they can submit any feedback a few days before the public beta goes live.

So, while yesterday’s post mentioned that a “concrete date” would be shared next week, the leaked email suggests Sports Interactive might be planning a surprise shadow drop instead. It’s a bold move to launch the open beta so close to the game’s full release though.

The game will also be coming to the Nintendo Switch, though the open beta is expected to be available only on PC, PlayStation, and Xbox platforms, progress carryover once the game officially launches.
