Far Cry 5 release date confirmed! The newest game from the Far Cry series is going to be available starting 27 February 2018 on PC, Playstation 4, and Xbox One. If you’re itching to get more information on the game, Ubisoft is inviting everyone to their E3 2017 stream which is scheduled on 12 June 2017, 1PM PDT. They will stream via the Ubisoft US YouTube channel.

In Far Cry 5, you will be able to create your very own character, which means there is no set protagonist this time. The game’s campaign is playable in co-op as well.

As the main character, you will fight alongside other Hope County residents who want the fanatical armed cult The Project at Eden’s Gate gone. Ubisoft has introduced three people who will become your allies: Jerome Jeffries, Mary May Fairgrave, and Nick Rye. We’ll get to know each one of them below.

Jerome Jeffries – “The Pastor”

He was Hope County’s resident priest for the past 15 years. He lost his congregation to Joseph Seed, the founder of Project at Eden’s Gate. He was left on the verge of death out in the woods, but survived. Using his experience during the Gulf War, Pastor Jeffries vows to return and protect the people from the cult.

Mary May Fairgrave

She was born and raised in Hope County. She used to operate her parents’ saloon, The Spread Eagle, which was later taken over by Eden’s Gate when it was foreclosed after her parents died. She vows to take back her parents’ saloon, and Hope County by fighting with the resistance.

Nick Rye – Gun for Hire

Nick Rye comes from a family of pilots, but he decided to take a different path from them – he became a cropduster pilot instead. Eden’s Gate has been bugging him to give up his business and sell it to them, to the point that they’re already giving him a hard time. Nick decides it’s time to wage war against the cult before it’s too late.
