Facing Skull & Bones High Prices? Allkeyshop Has a Plan for Players

Skull & Bones, Ubisoft’s pirate-themed title, is finally ready to launch after several years of development. A title announced back in 2017 at E3 and one that has been hit by numerous delays and changes.

Set to be released on 16th February , the title has puzzled many users due to the game’s price. To resolve this dilemma, Allkeyshop steps in.

Skull & Bones: Price too high?

The price of Skull & Bones has certainly raised a few concerns, not only on PC but especially on consoles. In fact, despite Ubisoft’s highly anticipated pirate game being hit by numerous delays and even content cuts, there is also a significantly high price for a live service game. We’re talking about $60 for the PC version and $70 for the console version on Xbox Series X/S and PS5. To worsen the situation in Europe, the prices are “converted” to 60€ for the PC version and, for no apparent reason, at 80€ on consoles.

Not only is there a price difference between the PC and console versions, but there’s also a €20 difference for the European console version. However, it’s worth noting that this is for the base game, to which an additional €30 for the Season Pass must be added for the full experience.

Skull & Bones: Allkeyshop’s Response to the price

The prices of the title are significantly higher than usual, especially in Europe, and for those who want to enjoy the full experience of Ubisoft’s pirate title with the Pass and any future DLCs, the price would rise up to €109 for the Premium on console.

Allkeyshop comes to the rescue by listing the lowest available prices for Skull & Bones, allowing you to save quite a bit on the base version and purchase the Season Pass later on or right away with a significant discount.

Skull & Bones CEO Defends Price: “It’s a Quadruple-A Game”

If there has been strong criticism towards the price, it has become a delicate topic with the intervention of Ubisoft CEO Yves Guillemot. In fact, Yves tries to justify the high price of Skull & Bones, starting from the development costs that have cost the company over $120 million. According to the CEO, this helped create what he believes is a true quadruple-A title. A game full of content and well-made that with the live-service method should entertain many players for many years to come. Thanks precisely to the Season Pass and additional paid content that should extend the longevity of the title.
