After three years in radio silence, the long-delayed Exomecha is ready to return after developer TwistedRed promised a new gameplay trailer and release date announcement on Thursday, July 17, 2025.

Exomecha, the free-to-play mech shooter first announced in 2020 as a Titanfall-inspired FPS, is returning after a three-year delay.

First announced in 2020, the game was due to launch in 2021 before a delay pushed it back to 2022, and another delay saw the game disappear, seemingly forever. However, it now appears the FPS is ready after years of silence from the developer. A livestream event is scheduled for July 17, 2025, at 8 AM PT / 2 PM CET.

What’s New in the Gameplay Reveal

While developer TwistedRed has not revealed too much about what’s coming in the livestream on July 17, the studio did promise “a new trailer” taken “100% from gameplay.”

The livestream also promises to reveal a release date, official Discord sever, and share details on a new Kickstarter campaign for the FPS. The whole thing kicks off on Thursday at 2 PM CET.

Platform Availability

Ahead of the game’s release date announcement, TwistedRed has said the game will be available to wishlist on Steam, Epic Games Store, and Xbox after the livestream on Thursday.
