The game requires players to alternate control of the five characters, combining their unique skills to sneak past or eliminate enemies. Crucially, players must manage the crew’s mental health like exposing characters to their traumas drains their sanity and triggers afflictions like paranoia, fundamentally altering how they are played. This delicate balance is complicated by a continuous day-night cycle where daylight is ideal for cautious scavenging and nightfall brings tighter security and paranormal threats, making after-hours exploration a high-risk, high-reward gamble.
