Xbox Game Pass wave 2 announcement is a bit on the thin side but to be fair, the quality makes up for it. And taking the lead is The Crew Motorfest which joins the service today for the first time. Often compared to Forza Horizon, this game is the third and a “reimagined” entry for the Crew series, released in 2023.
Game Pass members on Ultimate and PC are no longer restricted to the 5-hour free trial of the game as it enters the catalog today. Well, of course apart from buying a copy of your own. The question is, since it’s not a day-one launch, how come Premium tier was excluded?
Both Ultimate and PC Game Pass now include Ubisoft+ Classic but The Crew Motorfest isn’t really a classic title. So that’s weird. This isn’t the first time that this has happened though with a Ubisoft game. It was the same thing when AC Mirage entered Game Pass, only Ultimate and PC. It’s unclear why Premium isn’t part of the deal but considering how fast titles make their way to this tier, it won’t be THAT long before it does.

The Crew Motorfest is a multiplayer open-world racing game set on the vibrant island of Oʻahu, Hawaii, where you can speed through Honolulu’s streets, tackle off-road trails, and dive into themed racing playlists that celebrate American muscle, Japanese street racing, classic machines, and more. The game officially launched on September 14, 2023 and is available on PC, PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, Xbox Game Pass, and Amazon Luna.
