Netflix has officially confirmed that The Witcher will conclude with Season 5, bringing Geralt of Rivia’s on-screen saga to a definitive close in 2026.
Netflix greenlit back-to-back production for The Witcher Season 4 and Season 5, a strategy often used to lock in talent and reduce costs for CGI-heavy blockbusters.
Liam Hemsworth stepped into the lead role for Season 4, following the departure of Henry Cavill. With viewership dropping significantly season upon season, Netflix confirmed in a Tudum post that Season 5 will conclude the series.
