New Sonic Racing CrossWorlds Leak Reveals Another Free Character DLC
Sonic Racing CrossWorlds leak reveals another free, previously unannounced character DLC, giving fans a new surprise racer to enjoy.
Sonic Racing Crossworlds is releasing very soon, but not before another new character leak is reported. Unlike previous ones though where eagle-eyes gamers and insiders were the source of the leak, this one happened by chance.
Well apparently that is. Since this is unofficial and has not been hinted or announced before, proceed with caution. The character in question will be revealed within the article.
Sonic Racing CrossWorlds New Leak
One of SEGA’s most awaited titles this year, Sonic Racing Crossworlds, is set to launch on September 25th. Over the past few months, several leaks have fueled even more hype for the game, and this latest one looks to do the same.
The game currently has 56 confirmed roaster spots which includes the following:
- 23 base rosters (all of which are already known)
- 3 season pass racers (also all already known)
- 1 pre-order (Werehog)
- 1 unlockable
- 15 Paid DLCs (3 minecraft, 2 spongebob, and 2 pacman collabs)
- 13 Free post-launch DLCs (3 confirmed)
The three announced free character DLCs are Hatsune Miku, Joker, and Ichiban Kasuga. Ten are still TBA which are expected to be revealed closer to when they drop. However, a Redditor recently uncovered Nights from Nights Into Dream on a pre-order box of the game.
According to the user Any_Skill_6710, he found it by chance on a store shelf in New Zealand. While few question its authenticity, more believe the leak could be genuine. Some said they’ve never seen that render of Nights before and that a recent Sonic Racing CrossWorlds-based episode of TailsTube webseries showed a Nights-inspired vehicle. That same episode actually also “revealed” AiAi from Super Monkey Ball.
Since Nights isn’t officially announced but can be seen in the (highly possible) preorder box, the question now is, will she be announced in TGS 2025? And will she be playable?
