Sekiro is my favorite souls. The game has a very gripping story, and our choices lead to 3 possible endings, with interesting alternatives. Its gameplay is more demanding than other souls, I think, in the sense that there’s only one real way to play (you can get around it sometimes, but it’s not in the spirit of the game). The bosses are very interesting, the gameplay exceptional for me, and the deviations are indispensable and enjoyable when you control them. Feudal Japan awaits you!
Sekiro Shadows Die Twice is another entry, released at the end of March 2019, from the industry leading FromSoftware and another entry in the critically acclaimed soulslike entry by the creator of the genre itself.
Set in the Sengoku era, we’ll take the role of a man who was saved by a young lord and vowing to protect his honor as well as executing your revenge and reestablish your own honor in this action packed and lore intensive, set in the late 1500s Japan.
Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice is a breathtakingly intense and exhilarating journey that pushes the boundaries of action-adventure games. FromSoftware has once again delivered a masterpiece that combines challenging gameplay, stunning visuals, and a captivating world. The combat system is incredibly satisfying, requiring precision, timing, and strategic thinking. Every battle feels like a dance of blades, as you engage in intense duels with formidable enemies. The level design is exceptional, with intricately crafted environments that offer multiple paths and secrets to uncover.
The game’s lore and storytelling are subtle yet intriguing, drawing you deeper into the mysterious world of feudal Japan. While the difficulty can be daunting, the sense of accomplishment after defeating a challenging boss or overcoming a tough area is unparalleled.
This game made me rage so much but its such a good game that i’ve played through it like 10 times now. Its story is great and the combat is smooth and fluid, alot of rhythmn and move set learning required just like any other souls game
Not really into Souls like games, however from what i could see, this game was really well recevied by the community and it looks fantastic! It has the reputation to be very challenging so be ready to spend quite some time on it, trying to defeat the different bosses.
