Avowed PS5 Download Size and Preload Details Revealed
Avowed PS5 preloads start Feb 15 with a 66GB download ahead of its Feb 17 launch and Anniversary Update.
With just one week to go, PlayStation players are nearly ready to jump into Avowed as Obsidian Entertainment’s RPG makes its arrival on PlayStation 5. Launching on February 17 alongside the Anniversary Update, the former Xbox-exclusive is set to reach a new audience. While preloads aren’t live just yet, the preload date and the game’s download size has now been revealed.

The much-awaited release of Avowed on PS5 is just around the corner and Playstation users are now getting ready for it. There’s still one week to go but considering it’s been an Xbox-exclusive for a year, one can only imagine the level of excitement PS players have.
Set on February 17, 2026, it’s not only a date for Playstation users. On the day it launches on PS5, Obsidian is also releasing its free Anniversary Update for all platforms. This includes the highly-requested Photo mode, a New Game+ mode, a new weapon type (the two-handed Quarterstaff), three new playable races, and the ability to change appearance from the overworld.
For Xbox and PC players, just download the update when it goes live. For Playstation users, the update is already included in the launched version. Preloading starts on February 15 and will require 66.137GB in storage.
