Game Pass May 2024 has been great so far with the additions of Senua’s Saga: Hellblade 2 and Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons in service, and a previous two-title entry on May 16 with EA Sports NHL 24 and Immortals of Aveum via EA Play.

And today is another great day for Game Pass subscribers! Not only are we getting two new games in the catalog but both are day-ones. Galacticare and Hauntii are set to enter GP today providing us with two very different worlds to explore.

Galacticare is a new space hospital management game where instead of managing a regular hospital, you’re building and running hospitals on alien planets and for all sorts of weird and wonderful alien species. You’ll need to build rooms to diagnose and treat different alien diseases, hire staff, and keep your finances in order.

Hauntii on the other hand, is a new adventure single-player game where you play as a ghost named Hauntii who is on a quest to uncover the secrets of Eternity, a mysterious afterlife world where all souls eventually go. You’ll use your ghostly powers to possess both creatures and the environment in order to solve puzzles and progress through the game.

Where to play Galacticare for free?

If you have an active Game Pass subscription, you can start playing Galacticare for free on May 23, 2024. It will be available to play on Game Pass PC, Game Pass on Xbox Series X|S, and Xbox Cloud Gaming.

It is the first day-one launch today on Game Pass and marks the 9th title to enter the service. Hauntii is set to enter the service later today.

Galacticare was also announced to be released on Playstation 5 but as per the platform’s store page, it is still tagged as Announced with no release date stated. Although this may be sad news for PS users, who knows, maybe we’ll get the game on Playstation as a day-one launch on PS Plus too! Fingers crossed!




Where to play Hauntii for free?

Hauntii is also set to enter Game Pass PC, Console, and Cloud Gaming today, May 23, 2024. Since the game’s launch unlocks later that Galacticare worldwide, it also gets added to the service as such. Which to be fair, leaves room to focus and play Galacticare before trying Hauntii.

Before the announcement of its day-one addition to GP, Hauntii hosted two free public demos on Steam: one in November 2023 and the updated version in February 2024. While that is another way to play the game for free, the demo is no longer live on its page. It didn’t extend on both times so chances are, we won’t see any demos dropping anymore in the future.
