Lost Lighthouse Games has announced its first game, The Day I Will Die. The first-person psychological horror will launch for PC via Steam in 2026.
Developed by Lost Lighthouse Games, The Day I Will Die promises a tense, first-person, atmospheric horror experience on PC, and it’s launching sometime in 2026.
The game’s description on Steam says the story is “about the passage of time, lost dreams, and the struggle to come to terms with what can no longer be changed.”
Gameplay and Horror Features
Set in a remote mountain valley, The Day I Will Die throws players into an endless mist where time loops and paths forever twist and bend. But, in the fog, subconscious fears materialize into life, along with old dreams, and beings from the horror stories of the 1970s and 1980s.
Players are not alone in the fog. They’ll have a variety of weapons available at hand to fight off any threats in a “dynamic and varied combat system.” While the story unfolds, players will be overwhelmed with a constant sense of danger, which may affect their trigger finger.
