Next is a particularly fast-paced game, the new Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds. The game was released less than a week ago and therefore there is no discount yet – at least on Steam – but more on that in a moment. Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds is an arcade racer with cross-world tracks from different Sega universes. The focus is on team mechanics and online races with global leaderboards. On the Steam Deck the game runs smoothly and the controller is perfect for playing it.
Deltarune – Toby Fox’ RPG Sequel
Deltarune is the spiritual successor to the beloved game Undertale. The game is released in an episodic format and the first two episodes are free. For Episode 3 & 4 you unfortunately have to pay. The game offers a mix of humor, surrealism, and deep character moments. It’s a classic RPG with bullet-hell elements in combat.
Hollow Knight: Silksong – The Hottest Indie Release
The last game on today’s list should really need no introduction. It’s Hollow Knight: Silksong, the hottest indie release that crashed every store. In the game you play as Hornet in a new kingdom. You can expect a Metroidvania with new, epic movesets, fluid movement, new biomes, and tons of new enemies and bosses. The game released earlier this month and runs very well on the Steam Deck.
