During Slitherine Next 2024, the publisher shows us the new Territory Mode coming to Starship Troopers Terran Command.

Starship Troopers: Terran Command is a real-time strategy game that throws us into the world of the iconic Starship Trooper. Released on 16 June 2022, the game takes us to the desert planet of Kwalasha, facing hordes of Arachnids.

A fun RTS with a campaign of 19 missions. There are also additional contents from the two DLCs Raising Hell and Urban Onslaught. And with the recent Slitherine Next 2024, Slitherine’s publisher event, we got the confirmation of a new mode coming: Territory Mode.

Starship Troopers: Terran Command – The Announcement of Territory Mode from Slitherine Next 2024

From Slitherine Next 2024, the development team The Artistocrats along with Slitherine announce the new mode coming to Starship Troopers: Terran Command. A new addition that introduces the new game mode: Territory Mode. Compatible with both the base game and the two DLCs, and it will arrive as a free update.

Offering new maps with different layouts and randomized bases. Showing us what to expect from the new update, which should be available soon along with an initial Beta for the new mode.

Starship Troopers: Terran Command – New Features of Territory Mode

With the new trailer, the team gives us a sneak peek at what to expect from the new Territory Mode in Starship Troopers: Terran Command. So we’ll have:

• Initial Bases: With new maps coming, our initial bases will be randomized.
• Capture Territory Points: We’ll need to capture strategic points while repelling the hordes of Arachnids. The hordes will grow fiercer over time.
• New Weapons and Technologies: Capturing Territory Points will grant us resources to recruit new units, as well as unlocking new weapons and technologies.
• Battle Group Selection: We can choose the Battle Group that best suits our playstyle or what we think is most useful for the mission.

A fantastic new addition that aims to address some of the most discussed points in the community. Territory Mode offers a fresh gameplay experience and a great challenge for those looking for more difficulty. The free update is expected to arrive in 2025.
