The much-awaited PUBG killcam and 3D replay features are finally coming to PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds! This was confirmed by the game’s developer, PUBG Corp.
These features were made possible through a partnership with South Korean game technology company Minkonet, which is based is Seoul.
The PUBG killcam and 3D replay features will be a great addition to the game, as these will allow players to look back at how they were killed, and what went wrong during the match.
The 3D replay system records the player’s activities, and everything happening around him, during a match within a radius of one kilometer. All information during the match will be stored in the player’s computer. When he gets killed, he then sees a 20-second “killcam” footage which can be seen from behind the player who shot him.
Should players wish to see a longer version of the recording, they will be able to access it once the match is over. Up to 20 recordings can be saved in a player’s PC at one time. Some recordings can also be “locked” so they can be prevented from being overwritten.

The PUBG killcam and 3D replay features are now available at the game’s test server. These will also be included on the game’s official release on 20 December on Steam.
