Update – The Playstation Blog revealed this month’s final lineup which includes all of Billbil-kun leak plus Darkest Dungeon II and A Little to the Left. This brings the total Game Catalog addition to 8. The Classic Catalog remains unchanged with just Ridge Racer entering this month.
Original publiation – While Sony has not officially announced the Playstation Extra and Premium games for January, the ever-reliable leaker Billbil-kun revealed 7 titles that will be included in the lineup. And it includes a game which also enters Xbox Game Pass on the same day.
PlayStation Plus Extra Free Games For January 2026
The official PS Plus Game Catalog and Classic Catalog lineup will be announced later today at 4:30PM BST / 5:30PM CET. But thanks to billbil-kun, we already know 7 titles that will be revealed, including 1 for the Premium tier.
According to Dealabs, one of the games set to enter is Resident Evil Village, which is also part of this month’s Xbox Game Pass lineup. The game will enter both services on January 20th. Also a highlight is Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth which has never been part of a gaming subscription service until now.
As for the Classic Catalog, Ridge Racer will be available for Premium members which is a great addition since Ridge Racer 2 and Ridge Racer Type 4 are already part of the catalog.

- Resident Evil Village (PS5,PS4)

PlayStation Plus Premium Games For January 2026
Premium members can also play Ridge Racer when it enters the PS Plus Classic Catalog on the 20th. Since this is an early leak, it’s uncertain if more classic games will be added. Or who knows, might bring back PS VR2 (wishful thinking!)
