Moonlighter 2 The Endless Vault Early Access release was moved from October 23rd to November 19th. Here’s what the studio said.
Digital Sun and 11 bit Studios announced that the upcoming sequel, Moonlighter 2 The Endless Vault, has a new release date. Initially scheduled for October 23rd, it’s now moved to November 19th due to a full release schedule this month.
Moonlighter 2 Sets A New Release Date
October is absolutely packed with insane video game releases. In the beginning of the month we have games like Ghost of Yotei, Battlefield 6, and Little Nightmare 3 releasing, and then towards the end of the month we have Ninja Gaiden 4, Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines 2, and The Outer Worlds 2 among others. The full schedule can be intimidating even for big studios. And this is why Digital Sun made the call to delay Moonlighter 2 for November 19th.
While November still has Call of Duty Black Ops 7, the month isn’t as stuffed as October. And while Moonlighter 2 looks great, it can easily be overshadowed by these AAA titles.
As per the official announcement, the team said that this move is to give the game the attention it deserves and the best chance possible. The gameplay looks great and if it’s anything like the first game, it’s worth every bit of delay.

Alongside the new release date announcement, the studio also revealed that there will be a Closed Playtest on Steam and Xbox for PC. So although fans have to wait longer for the Early Access release, there’s still a way to play the game soon. To be the first to know about the playtest details, join Digital Sun’s Discord.
Moonlighter 2 The Endless Vault is scheduled to launch in Early Access on November 19th for PC via Steam and Xbox for PC. It is also confirmed to be a day-one launch on Game Pass under the Game Preview program.
