Moonlighter 2 The Endless Vault Joins Xbox Game Pass Today via Game Preview
Moonlighter 2 launches in Early Access and joins Xbox Game Pass, offering new dungeons, combat styles, relics, and shopkeeping upgrades.
Digital Sun and 11 Bit Studios have opened the gates to the much-awaited sequel of the critically-acclaimed Moonlighter game. Moonlighter 2 The Endless Vault launched on Steam Early Access today, November 19, 2025. The release is also celebrated by Xbox Game Pass members as it joined the service day-one.
Moonlighter 2 Launches Day-One on Xbox Game Pass Today
Xbox Game Pass wave 2 is officially underway. Earlier today, 2 games previously only available to Ultimate and PC members, are now available to Premium subscribers too.
But of course, today wouldn’t be complete if the ultimate tiers don’t continue being ultimate. And that’s why today, they are getting a day-one addition with Moonlighter 2 The Endless Vault via the Game Preview program.
The game marks the first day-one title in the second half of the month, following Call of Duty Black Ops 7 which joined on the 14th. Unlike it though, this is only available to play on PC since a console version is not yet available and does not currently support cloud gaming. It is, in the end, still in early access.

Moonlighter 2 The Endless Vault is an action RPG with roguelike elements that follows the story of a stranded community trying to rebuild their lives in the remote village of Tresna. With no money and only a rundown shop to your name, your goal is to turn this humble storefront into the thriving heart of the town’s economy. You’ll venture into dangerous dungeons, recover valuable relics, and sell your finds to fund upgrades for both your shop and the village. Smart inventory management, clever routing through treacherous floors, and your knack for reading customers all play a part as you expand your business, strengthen your gear, and help Tresna return to life.
The Early Access version gives players a pretty substantial slice of the full experience. It includes three dimensions, Kalina, The Gallery, and Aeolia, each with two floors of unique biomes, enemies, and bosses. You can experiment with four distinct combat styles, face off against more than 50 enemy types, and collect over 160 relics to stock your shop from day one. The core shopkeeping loop is also fully present, allowing you to decorate, customize, and optimize your displays to attract customers and increase profits.
