Is Battlefield 6 on EA Play Game Trials?
Battlefield 6 has no EA Play game trial at launch, but EA Play Pro members can jump in now with full access to the Phantom Edition.
One of the biggest launches and most-anticipated games this year has finally arrived. Battlefield 6’s journey to release has been incredible, from leaks to announcements to the beta. And all that effort paid off as it reached 745,000 peak concurrent players on Steam. Mind you, that’s only the PC part. While many jumped in to get a copy straight away, some were holding off hoping to experience it first on EA Play’s Game Trials. The question is, is it there?
Battlefield 6 Has No Game Trial On EA Play
Unfortunately for EA Play and Xbox Game Pass Ultimate members (which EA Play is included), Battlefield 6 does not have a 5 or 10-hour game trial. This was confirmed by an EA spokesperson to Gamespot.
Many hoped for it (maybe in denial) but most expected that it won’t. Excluding EA Sports titles, many big EA releases actually do not have a game trial upon launch. In fact, Battlefield 2042 and Dragon Age The Veilguard only offered it post-launch. So although there is none now, there’s hope in the future… probably when the player count goes down.
While Battlefield 6 does not currently offer a free trial for EA Play members, it is included in the more expensive tier, EA Play Pro. Members of the latter have access to the Phantom Edition which is valued at $100.
