Saber announced the Hellraiser game with a dark and spine-tingling trailer teasing the survival horror for PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.
Known for his chilling and iconic performance in the original films, Doug Bradley is returning to play Pinhead for the first time in almost two decades.
What We Know About the Hellraiser Game
Officially titled Clive Barker’s Hellraiser: Revival, the game is being developed by Saber Interactive and Boss Team Games, and is coming to PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X|S at an unannounced date.
The game’s Steam store page promises “a new chapter in the legendary horror series like never before” with an all-new story, an arsenal of powerful abilities for inflicting pain (and pleasure), and a story-driven horror experience.
Doug Bradley Returns as Pinhead
Reprising his role as the legendary Hell Priest, Doug Bradley will play Pinhead for the first time since 2005, having played the Cenobite in the original film and seven sequels.
Bradley’s return is a great nod to the original films for fans. Saber is keen to create an authentic Hellraiser experience while designing a new story that will appeal to returning and new fans.
What Can Fans Expect From the Game?
Clive Barker’s Hellraiser: Revival will follow Aiden, a man who uses the Genesis Configuration to descend into the Labyrinth to save his girlfriend Sunny from her hellish prison.
Revival will explore the lore of the film series and its familiar themes. Aiden will battle against horrifying creatures, the cult devoted to the Cenobites, and Pinhead himself.
As of yet, there is no release date, but it is planned to release for PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.
