Far Cry Primal Beast Master: Control All the Beasts!
Gotta Tame ‘Em All!
Be a Far Cry Primal Beast Master and take the challenges of Oros on with your furry and badass animal friends! As Takkar, you have this ability to control the animals around you by taming them – luring them with food, then making them trust you.
After unlocking the Beast Master skill for the beast you want to tame, you can go ahead and search the open world of Oros for creatures you want to take on as companions – think Pokemon hunting, caveman style. Taming the animals would mean that they can either fight alongside you, be used as distraction while hiding, or even ride them to get to another location. They even give out awards such as XP and skins!
Let’s take a look at some of the creatures you can encounter:
SABRETOOTH TIGERThis ancient giant cat has long teeth and can climb trees, rocks, or anything it can set its claws on. And yes, you can ride this one. Awards: XP + Sabretooth Tiger Skin Hunting Difficulty: VERY HARD |
WOLFWolves hunt in packs. They’re one of the first ones you can tame as soon as you unlock the Tame Canines Beast Master Skill. Awards: XP + Wolf Skin Hunting Difficulty: MEDIUM |
WOOLLY RHINOThey are not tameable, and do not fear fire. Watch out for its horns! Awards: XP + Woolly Rhino Skin Hunting Difficulty: HARD |
ELDER MAMMOTHJust like the Woolly Rhino, you can’t tame this giant beast and they’re also not afraid of fire. Awards: XP + Mammoth Skin Hunting Difficulty: VERY HARD |
MAMMOTHThe young mammoth is one you can tame. Once tamed, you can ride them and stomp on other creatures, or even other people. It can call on an Elder Mammoth for help during battle, too! Awards: XP + Mammoth Skin Hunting Difficulty: VERY HARD |
CAVE LIONAnother tameable creature. It’s very dangerous, and can also climb. Awards: XP + Cave Lion Skin Hunting Difficulty: HARD |
TALL ELKThe tall elk can’t be tamed. They have this tendency to switch from passive to aggressive in a snap. Awards: XP + Tall Elk Skin Hunting Difficulty: VERY HARD |
